Democracy in Hotter Times

September 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

In recognition of World Democracy Day and International Day of Peace.

Dr. Orr delved into the dynamic relationship between climate change, democracy, and morality- shedding light on how these forces influence each other, and how they collectively impact the world we live in. He offered a range of possible responses and entertained our questions in the true spirit of dialogue.

Presented by Dr. David Orr

David W. Orr is Professor of Practice at Arizona State University and Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics Emeritus at Oberlin College. He is the author of eight books variously about education, climate, and ecological design, including Design on the Edge (MIT Press).

He has been awarded nine honorary degrees and a dozen other awards, including lifetime achievement awards from the US Green Building Council and the North American Association for Environmental Education.
