Peace Gathering & Ice Cream Social

PEACEQUEST LAUNCH EVENT!
Join us for a GL-UNA Peace Gathering and ice cream social at the Lake Lansing Park’s Main Pavilion on August 27 from 1-5 pm. We’ll enjoy a summer picnic, yard games, and door prizes while we celebrate the work GL-UNA has accomplished to foster peace locally and beyond!
GL-UNA will provide ice cream, water, and a concession stand will be open near the pavilion. Feel free to bring your own picnic foods.
There will be lots of fun activities to enjoy, including face painting, creating buttons, painting peace rocks, and crafting peace signs for vigils and marches. We encourage you to bring your favorite outdoor games!
Everyone is welcome- so bring a friend and let’s enjoy the day!
