Covid-19 and Humanitarian Relief
The Covid pandemic has altered everything we do, but what has been the effect on humanitarian relief? We were joined by Ronald Quejas-Risdon, member of GLUNA and Director for East Africa for the Unforgotten Fund, and Amit Kadapia, founder and Executive Director of the Unforgotten Fund.
Following an overview of recent trends in donations and support for humanitarian relief organizations in general, they discussed steps they have taken to keep the Unforgotten Fund and it’s various humanitarian relief projects going. They also discussed some possible future implications of what we are learning now. While challenging, it is not all dark.
